Norse Camden 2023

The Norse Camden is a ship named after Camden, New Jersey, that was officially berthed at Balzano Terminal in Camden on October 22, 2023. The ship's naming and maiden voyage were celebrated on October 25, 2023.

The Norse Camden is the fifth ship in a series of eco-friendly vessels built primarily in Japan. The ships are named after major steel ports around the world to highlight the connection between global trade and the ports that support it. The Norse Camden was named to honor Camden, New Jersey, which is the largest U.S. port of call for Clipper Bulk Shipping, the ship's owner.

The ship's arrival in Camden was a significant moment for the city's maritime history, and a celebration of its role in the global supply chain.
